Archie Aitken started fitting bathrooms in Lanarkshire in 1987. His son Jon works alongside him. It is the two of them on every job — no subcontractors, no sales rep, no pressure at the kitchen table.

Somewhere along the way the work changed. What began as bathroom refits turned increasingly into adaptations: taking out baths people could no longer climb into, and putting in showers they can walk straight into. Most of our work now comes from occupational therapists, from Care & Repair, and from sons and daughters arranging things for a parent.

That's why we do it the way we do — one visit, one written price, two men you'll recognise at the door the next morning, and the paperwork help nobody else seems to offer.
